Look at the results in Step 3 for business press releases, staff member bios, published work, and newspaper articles. These can be a source of information about businesses, deaths, accidents, achievements and can reveal where the person currently lives, if you do not know.

Enter "free (your status) public records online" into any search engine. From the list of websites, you should be able to identify the sites that contain government records.
