Popular in the post-Soviet space, VKontakte, compared to its overseas prototype, initially had very liberal rules for posting digital content. - Open the browser and use the address bar to open the Contact community with movies or clips.
- Find the video in the description. It can always be distinguished from a photo by the presence of a timestamp in the picture.
- Click on the button in the middle, launching the show online.
- When the file is loaded into the buffer and playback begins, the button indicated by the arrow will appear in the upper right corner of the screen. By clicking on it, we activate the background download.
- The pop-up curtain in the browser is a menu for choosing a save folder. Aloha will download the video not to the standard iPhone Camera Roll, but to its own "Downloads" gallery. By default, it already has two folders: "Media" and "Files".

- In the main window of the program, select the marked item to open the built-in browser.
- For example, we are looking for “Policeman from Rublyovka” with Yakovlev and his jokes or “Adrenaline” with charismatic Stethem. The search will always be performed using Google services and the main thing is to find the file in the output, not the streaming. The ideal option would be if the finished link is sent to you by mail, telegram or WhatsApp. It is inconvenient to safari it yourself in the application.
- When a downloadable file is found, Video Saver will display a pop-up window. Click the marked button to activate the download.

PC use
The main problem with the applications discussed above, except for advertising, is only one. They actively "eat" the battery of the phone, performing downloads in the background. The model does not play a role - in the old iPhone 5S and the relatively new 6S, the difference in capacity is not so great. Of course, if you only download happy birthday greetings, you won't notice anything. To download the golden fund of the cinema of the USSR or a good selection of films on the road, it is better to use a computer. Thank God, no one has yet canceled the separation of functions for this purpose.
- We will need to find the Savefrom.net website. Like the previously reviewed Video Saver application, its main task is to help the user save content for offline viewing. As you can see, the list of supported services includes almost everything except Instagram.

- Having opened the link to VK, we find that in order to work with the social network, you need to install a browser extension. We press the only button located on the page.
- The browser used is determined automatically by cookies. We make sure that there is no error, and load the extension.
- We pass the File Vault check, allowing Safari to trust the new file.
- Once the security controls are complete, the Safari extensions settings page will automatically open. Check the box indicated by the arrow to go to the advanced menu.
- As you can see, here we have listed the main sites that host content. Instagram is already present in this list, and a choice of file formats is available for YouTube. All services are enabled by default. By removing the checkmarks, we turn off the excess, limiting ourselves, for example, to Facebook and VK. Transferring an object to a smartphone
The film downloaded in this way from the social network must now be transferred to the iPhone. The easiest and most accessible option is to use the old but reliable iTunes.
- We launch the program on the laptop and switch to the device management menu. Open the Shared Files area. Shown here are the programs whose content can be managed.
