Create slideshows from your own photos
If you want to show your own photos on your iPhone, there are two options - slide shows and reviews.
Your own iPhone offers several ways to create a moving image from photo collections. On the one hand, it's pretty simple, but without much design freedom with slide shows. On the other hand, you can use retrospectives to add titles for individual performances and add suitable soundtracks from Apple's own media library. We have described this second option in more detail in a separate guide .
Create slideshows from your own photos
This option was inherited from the previous iOS versions. To do this, select several photos or photos from several days and tap the button with three dots in the bottom bar. In addition to customization or editing options, system options such as “Copy” or “Duplicate” – or “Slide Show” also appear. Clicking on it starts an automatically created video from the selected images. You can still edit the display in a rudimentary way: All you have to do is click on the slide show that has started, and the options for airplay forwarding and a few options are displayed: With the “Theme” you can change the transitions between the photos, next to “Origami ”, “Ken Burns” and “Move” there are options such as “Fade” or “Magazine”. For music, you can change the soundtrack or select a song from your own music library. The slide show can optionally be set to an endless loop with “Repeat”. The last control can be used to reduce or increase the speed of the display. In this case, there is no convenient way to save the slideshow as a video.
There is an “Airplay” function on the start screen of the finished slide show. This allows the newly created slideshow to be played on the available Airplay devices.
