You have correctly installed your AirPlay compatible device, stamped with the apple mark or not? Follow these few steps to use Apple's functionality .
- Make sure your device is connected to Ethernet or Wi-Fi and turned on;
- Make sure your iPhone / iPad is connected to the same network ;
Note : it must be the same Wi-Fi network, but the internet connection is optional.
- Open Control Center (drag it down from the top right corner or bottom to top, depending on your iDevice model);
- Press Mirroring ;
- Choose the available AirPlay compatible device .
Note that you also have the option of using an application such as 5KPlayer to use AirPlay on your iPhone, iPad or Mac if necessary.
Everything you do on your iPhone or iPad will be streamed, retransmitted, directly to the previously selected screen. V ll just have to enjoy your content on your Apple TV or other product AirPlay .
Very few settings are available for this feature, but you can find them in Settings > General > AirPlay and Handoff .
