If the fingerprint sensor of your Xiaomi mobile is under the screen and it does not work correctly or, even worse, it simply does not work, the problem may be the screen protector that you have installed on the phone. Some are so thick or, failing that, of a material not suitable for on-screen fingerprint readers that they may not allow the sensor to function properly. If so, get rid of the protector and install a different one.
