However, there are two ways to fix this setback. One is to wait for Google to offer an update to end the problem; and another more immediate, uninstall System WebView. Here we explain how you can do it.
First you have to access the 'Settings' of your mobile device and access the 'Applications' / 'Manage applications' section. Once inside, you have to find the app 'System Webview' or similar, and click on 'Uninstall updates'. When you do this, you just have to restart your phone.
Android System Webview may not appear in the list of top applications, even if the menu is fully displayed. In that case, you have to click on 'Search' and write, for example, "system".
This solution will not crash your Android phone, however it is merely temporary. Some manufacturers, including those of Samsung, have recommended that their customers, if they experience problems, uninstall the application without problem until the update is already being worked on.

To force the update, you must access the Google Play Store, go to the 'My applications' and 'Search for updates' section. With both solutions, users should be able to navigate normally again. It should be noted that the first solution, although it is currently the most immediate, can cause problems in the long term. For this reason, as soon as it returns to normal, users who have chosen to fix the System WebView error by uninstalling it will have to reinstall it.
